Set The Moon on Fire until it Becomes the Sun (2018)
In this metaphor, the moon is ourselves, having its light derived from the sun (God). Setting the moon on fire until it becomes the sun, is this process of more and more changing and seeking to become one with God. Not to become A GOD. But become one with God. This process involves the “death” of our Ego. The Ego takes the place of God. It taks the name of God “I am” and adds “I am PAUL". The Ego gives rise to division, it is the fall of the garden of Eden.
”If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me” (Mt 16:24) and “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one” (John 17:21-22)
