The Weight (2012)
This piece was inspired be the the gospel of Matthew (11:28) “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” We can only find rest and fulfilment in the Divine. The world gives you labour, suffering, lack and a chain of never ending desires that promise you happiness, but delivers no permanent contentment. In God, there is no division, no lack, no suffering, no search.
